Makenzie Ackermann

Ms. Makenzie Ackermann is a Louisville native and grew up in the Kentuckiana area. Makenzie graduated from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. She joined Schurman Ackermann in the spring of 2019. She is a member of the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Association and comes from a long line of small business owners and entrepreneurs.

As a partner of Schurman Ackermann, her primary focus is civil litigation, including domestic relations and small business litigation. Makenzie’s experience in conflict resolution enables her to work efficiently and effectively. She values her client’s time and her background in small business enables clients to make educated decisions and not waste resources on frivolous legal proceedings.
